My desire for hair styling and coloring changes with each season. I tend to make everyone’s color brighter for summer. Then come fall a warmer shade is a good choice if your complexion can warrant it. Winter we all tend to get darker hair because of the lack of sunshine. We foil highlights more in the winter months than in summer because the sun keeps everyone brighter naturally.
Warming up your color with toners in the salon is so much fun! There are shampoos now that impart color at home so you can enhance your shade and maintain it in the convenience of your own home!
I want to share some facts. There is only one color that challenges all stylists, it is RED. History reveals that it is the hardest color to achieve and maintain. That being said, it is also the hardest shade to cancel out. I am not afraid of creating gorgeous red shades as long as my client understands the upkeep, and the risk of damage to the hair while trying to lift it out with bleach.
